What do you think? do you think that we can find Ghost or spirits by the use of EMF detectors and kII meters? Do you think that Spirits or whatever they may be give off a EMF field that we can read? What "Solid" evidence is there for this way of thinking? What are your thoughts?

The only way to prove (to me) that an EMF detecting device of some sort picked up a spirit, is if there were a video camera on that device, along with an audio recording device, and if the camera also picked the form of a spirit/entity, and the recorder picked up a class A EVP, at the same time as the EMF spiked. Only if this happens, and is completely 100% unexplainable, am I then going to say EMF had something to do with the spirit/entity/ghost.  That would be solid enough for me to say "well, ya got me there", however, that's still not proof.   What a conundrum.  EMF detectors going up and down on their own tells me nothing, it tells me there's probably a radio frequency that just popped through, or someone's cell phone is on or syncing in another room and they walked close enough to a light switch to make a signal.  Until my human eyes can see electricity and frequencies, I'm not sold on EMF being spirit activity. It certainly could be, sure, but for solid proof I would need a lot of equipment backing it up in visual/auditory ways as well as on the meters. 

Very well put Amy. There are so many "Other" things that could be setting off the EMF detectors that who can say really if it is a energy or spirit itself doing it. For all we know we could somehow set these meters off since our brains do give off a EMF field which has been proven by science, but yet as paranormal researchers a lot of us put a lot of valinidy into spirits making/causing the EMF detect. to spike.
