EVP: Cambridge Hotel - 2010
In 2010, Tri-City NYPS investigated the historic Cambridge Hotel in Washington County, New York. Built in 1885, the hotel provided stylish lodging in a country setting for travelers on the Delaware and Hudson Railway line. The train station itself was across the street from the hotel. During the investigation, a digital recorder was placed in one of the room and recorded continuously for an entire night. The sound of a train including what sounds like a whistle one or two times can be heard in the recording.
